CenClear, a provider of early childhood and mental health/substance use disorder services, is seeking a dedicated and organized IT Support Specialist to join our team in Bigler, PA.
In this full-time role, you will provide technical support to the agency regarding computer systems, software, and hardware. Join our team and contribute to our mission of providing high-quality services in a supportive and trauma informed work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
- Works flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming calls and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Manage helpdesk software tickets and address user needs through various communication channels in a timely manner.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by other IT department staff.
- Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
- Follow up with users to ensure the issue has been resolved; and record events and problems in helpdesk ticket logs
- Be socially responsible to keep OneNote information up to date.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel in a timely manner.
- Deploy images on machines, configure and sign out equipment following company resource sign-out procedures.
- Assist in management of inventory with corporate scanners, printers, and other peripherals.
- Track and manage consumable inventory and submit reorder points for new/additional inventory purchases.
- Reconfigure machines during emergency situations.
- Assist field users with temporary hardware sign out when unexpected issues arise with their equipment.
- Upgrade and maintain equipment as needed and assist field users with temporary hardware sign out when necessary.
- Keep proper deployment, utilization records and inventory control so that audit trails are kept up to date.
- Actively acquire knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the requirements of the job, maintain professional growth and change with new technology deployed within the agency.
- Triage issues and escalate to a manager when necessary.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills.
- Respond to requests in a timely manner while managing emotional intelligence.
- Visits branch sites as needed for hardware and software support.
- Helps in the planning and execution of HIPAA security policies and procedures.
- Attends trainings ongoing to keep updated on latest software versions and new technology.
- Keeps a daily logbook of tasks completed or worked on.
- Attend monthly IT Department meetings and participate in ongoing reflective supervision.
- Support and follows the Sanctuary Model’s 7 commitments.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field of Information Technology -OR-
- Two-year Computer Science Degree or Certification -OR-
- Diploma from Computer Technical School with related experience
- Dependable, highly motivated and shows initiative.
- Ability to plan and organize work and assist others to do so.
- Access to transportation.
- Ability to travel and obtain additional training related to position.
- Knowledge base of items/functions such as: Remote Connectivity Solutions Software, Basic and Advanced Troubleshooting Skills, Problem Solving Skills, and Maintain Systems for department and/or organization.
- Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
Compensation
Annual Salary Range: $35,000.00-$45,000.00
